Fern Glazer is a Philadelphia-based writer of all things short—fiction, plays, monologues and children’s picture books. Over the years Fern’s monologues have appeared as part of Cherry Picking, a from-scratch theater happening held each summer in New York City. Her short play Night Lines has been produced several times since its 1994 debut at Florida Studio Theater. Fern only recently began submitting her fiction for publication; her first submission was published on the Arthur Ross Gallery Blog in April 2019. She is currently submitting Wynnie The Artist, a children’s picture book, to publishers.
In her more than two decades as a journalist, Fern has written and published thousands (really!) of articles, first as an arts and culture reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer, then as Arts Editor at Philadelphia City Paper, and more recently as a long-time Contributing Editor to Nation’s Restaurant News and Restaurant Hospitality, two of foodservice’s leading trade websites and print publications.
These days when she’s not writing her own stories, Fern is Founding Partner of Little Warrior, a Philadelphia-based integrated creative agency that grows brands and sales through content, strategy, design and video production.
