Jared Levy was born in Philadelphia, but raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. After receiving a BA in Philosophy from Bates College, he worked as a paralegal and freelance writer in New York City and then a learn-to-swim coach in New Zealand.
Back stateside, he teaches and writes, occasionally for Interview Magazine and the Bowery Presents’ House List. In 2016, he had two stories published, Perpetual Motion in the Quotable, and Sheep, which appeared in the 8th issue of Apiary Magazine. In 2017, he’s had two more stories published, The Grader in the Machinery and The Former President Paints Pictures of Dogs in the Matador Review. For more things Jared, check out his website here.
