Timothy grew up in New York City and is a graduate of Swarthmore College. His work has been published in Make/shift, Apiary, Tikkun, Zine Yearbook, Journal of Aesthetics and Protest, and The Revolution Starts at Home: Confronting Intimate Violence Within Activist Communities. He was recently featured in the Leeway Foundation’s Trans Literary Salon. Timothy works with the Philadelphia Student Union to build the power of young people to demand a high quality education in the Philadelphia public school system. He also dabbles in astrology, plays soccer with the Big Spoons, and aspires to run a half-marathon.

Timothy has been a member of Backyard Writers since 2012.
